I am a website developer based in Perth Scotland. A graduate of Abertay univesity Dundee I have been involved in website development since 2004.
I specialise in developing clean usable websites which are compatible across the various browsers your visitors may use. I have developed ecommerce sites using a variety pf platforms including Mageto, Click Cart Pro, Zen cart as well as the popular EKM Powershops. I have also developed sites using the new Amazon webstore framework which allows customers to purchase goods from your site via their own Amazon account.
I have experience designing and developing websites which integrate Content Management allowing the owner of the website the ability to add content via a user friendly admin section without the need of any technical knowledge. Some of the websites I have created with the functionality of content management have been built upon the popular Joomla framework whereas others I have developed with custom built content management which I have taylored specifically for certain clients using a combination of PHP and MySql.
As well as the designing and developing of websites I also have experience in search engine optimisation ( SEO ), using data feeds for populating ecommerce sites, sponsored google ads and developing product feeds for inclusion in the Google Shopping platform.
Social networking platforms are another tool which I have used in conjuction with the growing of a website. I have designed custom facebook and twitter pages which have helped develop customer bases.
I have also created custom ebay shops, custom ebay listing pages, blogs and forums.
At the moment my current skillset includes hand coding valid HTML and CSS, client side scripting such as JavaScript, server side scripting such as PHP and classic ASP along with the database side of things using SQL.
